Step into the world of film with a 12-month paid placement in our Theatrical Marketing team, late August/early September in Chiswick. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment where stories come to life on the big screen. Working three days a week in the office, you’ll be part of a passionate team supporting the release of a diverse slate of films. From day one, you’ll tackle real responsibilities, build valuable industry skills, and learn the ins and outs of film distribution and marketing. If you're curious, driven, and excited by the magic of cinema, this opportunity could be your perfect launchpad.
This is an opportunity to work on a range of films and learn about film distribution for those interested in film marketing specifically, for films being released in UK cinemas. This marketing team looks after all cinema releases and experience will be gained across the following fields and each film will have a unique approach: media campaigns, creative campaigns, experiential activities, stunts and various production shoots, premieres, various screenings, strategies and internal and external reporting.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing:
- Managing marketing assets and ensuring everything is organised and up to date
- Coordinating with external vendors to place and track orders
- Supporting budget tracking and reporting activities
- Contributing creative ideas during brainstorms and campaign reviews
- Maintaining campaign reports and tracking project progress
- Requesting and reviewing marketing materials to support campaign execution
- Designing internal presentations, including mock-ups and concept visuals
- Compiling media coverage and campaign results for internal reporting
- Keeping internal documents updated and accessible
- Monitoring our film assets on exhibitor websites to ensure accuracy and visibility
- Researching competitor campaigns and brand activations for inspiration and insight
- Helping at events and screenings, from logistics and ticketing to guest lists and on-the-day support
- Pitching in with general admin tasks to keep the team running efficiently
What are we looking for?
- Recently finished school or university and ready to kick-start a career in media
- A genuine passion for Film and TV
- Sharp attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Organised, proactive, and confident juggling multiple tasks
- A creative problem-solver
- Great communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Eager to learn, grow, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Awareness of online trends and how they shape audience behaviour
- Confidence juggling multiple tasks and deadlines
- Familiarity with Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects
- Flexible and open to working occasional evenings or weekends for events

Who Can Apply?
- Be a recent school or university leaver with a passion for media and some professional experience
- Be available full-time from late August for the full 12-month placement
- Have the right to work in the UK through October 2026
- Show enthusiasm for the role through your studies, work experience, or extracurriculars
- Live within commutable distance to our Chiswick, London office and work on-site Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
