About You

Are you a hardworking agile program manager looking to join a rapidly-expanding PMO? We are seeking an individual with strong technical skills, experience in agile methodologies, and a track record of motivating teams to deeper levels of agility and self-organization.

Individuals should be highly skilled Agile program management professionals, great teammates, lifelong learners, and excellent communications, with a passion for servant-leadership. Your primary responsibility will be serving as the scrum master for two of our agile development teams, building out Pluto TV's media asset management (MAM) tools and workflow.

Day to Day

Agile Best Practices: Lead day-to-day Agile ceremonies at the team level and implement Agile best practices to improve team velocity.
Cross Team Communication: Drive cross-team communication and maintain balanced cross-team relationships by providing accurate and proactive project tracking to the larger organization.
Impediment Removal: Actively identify and remove impediments that may impact team velocity or deliverables. Partner with PMO leadership to run program impediments.
Program Planning: Participating in quarterly big-room planning, working across the program management office to resolve and plan for cross-team dependencies. Facilitate your assigned teams to make responsible commitments and negotiate competing priorities.
Relentless Improvement: Lead regular team-level retrospectives that lead to practical improvements and participate in larger cross-team inspect and adapt events.
Development Team Relationship: Working as a servant-leader within the team, using leadership skills to cultivate healthy and productive working relationships.

Qualities and Experience We’re Seeking

We believe these are the key requirements to be successful.

3+ years as an agile project manager/scrum master in a technical environment.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification required. Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSP, or SA are recommended.
Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework. SAFe certifications such as Certified SAFe® Agilist, Certified SAFe® Scrum Master, and/or Certified SAFe® Practitioner
Solid understanding of agile software development methodologies, with demonstrated success driving those teams to higher levels of productivity and efficiency.
Familiarity with the streaming applications, entertainment technology, and/or video and metadata ingestion workflows is recommended.
Experience working with teams that are distributed across multiple time zones and skills and ability synchronize and establish seamless communication
Previous experience working with third party applications and integrations including managing expectations, progress and deliverables
Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Google Workspace

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $130,000 - 145,000.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
