Overview & Responsibilities

This position will provide the EVP Strategic Planning & Business Operations with administrative, analytical, strategic & operations planning in support of Nickelodeon Animation Studios and Paramount Pictures.

You will collaborate with other Operating Groups to drive efficiency and productivity within Paramount Global!

 

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Prepare and edit high level presentations, i.e., annual budgets, greenlights, and ad hoc presentations for internal and external partners
  • Support the EVP in various activities to ensure efficiency and alignment with business growth objectives, which will include: 
    • Developing operating procedures, best practices and goals for department heads and senior business leaders that delivers studio efficiencies and financial targets for the Animation Studio.
  • Help to cultivate and identify strong positive relationships with external animation development, production and finance companies that result in stable and lasting partnerships.
  • Partner with Business and Legal Affairs to track and categorize general deal-making activity accurate administrative record keeping
  • Keep track of projects on Animation slate - including greenlight preparation, milestone reports, project statuses, launch dates, delivery and release dates
  • Involved in higher level planning for long term studio initiatives
  • Assist with tracking and preparing budgets and subsequent forecasting when applicable
  • Collaborate with managers from various departments to capture data to track business activities and achievement of performance goals
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required
  • Delivers distribution of Agreements and correspondence
  • Answers phones, schedules appointments/confirms meetings/maintains daily schedules, photocopies material, facsimile/e-mail distributes and routes incoming and outgoing mail that may include large distribution lists
  • Composes and generates letters and memos; back-ups proof reading and editing on documents prepared by manager and others
  • Complete travel arrangements & process travel and expense reports
  • Liaises with internal departments and external entities as needed
  • Build and maintain well organized digital filing systems
  • Contract tracking and PowerPoint presentations
  • Enter status of projects in various status report databases

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in Animation film business
  • Expert Microsoft Office Skills: excel, PowerPoint, Project Management

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and have excellent follow-through skills in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Must be highly organized, analytical, and adaptable.
  • Detailed with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Ability to keep high-level information confidential

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $56,000.00 - 70,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
