Global Content Distribution is composed of three business segments: Paramount Content Licensing, Paramount Digital Transactional, and Paramount International Networks. Our teams license Paramount's film and TV content to the world's leading broadcasters, streamers, and distributors, from CBS Studios and Paramount Pictures titles to franchises like NCIS and Top Gun. We also operate Paramount's networks and channels in markets around the world, including MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Channel 5 in the UK, and Network 10 in Australia.
The SVP Communications leads strategy across the division, driving internal and external communications, supporting major tentpole moments, and managing media relations across markets. We're looking for a Coordinator to support the SVP and the broader comms team across executive support, internal communications, media relations, and events.
Responsibilities:
● Draft and build briefing decks and presentations for senior leadership meetings, client engagements, and industry events
● Support planning and execution of events including vendor sourcing, RSVP management, project trackers, and on-site logistics
● Coordinate talent logistics for executive-facing moments
● Produce and distribute internal communications
● Own core reference materials, including boilerplate, executive bios, and approved messaging
● Monitor media coverage and industry news
● Compile coverage reports and results recaps following major moments and campaigns
● Research industry events, awards, speaking opportunities, and editorial calendars
● Maintain a central communications calendar tracking key dates, events, and milestones across the division
● Run press lists and journalist databases across global markets
● Handle press screeners and upload materials to the client servicing and press sites
● Create graphic assets and visual materials for events and internal channels
● Source branded materials and giveaways for client events and internal engagement moments
● Coordinate with communications teams across the company and EAs for broader leadership team
● Onboard new comms hires across territories and support team transitions
● Manage the SVP's calendar, scheduling, travel, and meeting coordination
● Process expense reports and corporate card reconciliation
● Raise POs, process vendor invoices, and maintain communications budget
Basic Qualifications:
● 1+ years of experience in communications, events, or a related field; entertainment or media industry preferred (strong internship experience considered)
● Tools: PowerPoint, Google Suite, Excel, Canva, Airtable, Asana, Claude, Concur, Slack, Cision, CMS platforms.

● Comfortable working across time zones with global teams and stakeholders
● Discretion and sound judgment handling confidential and sensitive information
● Basic design sensibility and comfort producing visual assets
● Calm under pressure; flexible with shifting priorities and last-minute requests

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $52,000.00 - 60,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
