The VFX Department for Paramount Feature Productions and Paramount Hybrid Animated Productions is seeking a Coordinator, Visual FX. Responsibilities
- Coordinate the onboarding and connectivity process for freelance VFX teams.
- Provide support navigating PPC departments (IT, Legal, etc) with freelance VFX teams.
- Track and coordinate physical and digital assets and liaise with PPC IT.
- Manage wrap documents, files, and assets upon show deliveries and liaise with PPC Archives.
- Perform general administrative duties including scheduling meetings, answering phones, booking travel, and filing.
- Opportunity to learn how to draft a VFX breakdown from script for select projects.
- Prepare and initiate review sessions with studio executives, filmmakers, and vendors.
- Detailed note-taking and follow-up on action items for internal VFX productions.
- Track VFX contract status and liaise with executives and legal department to facilitate execution.
- Maintain database (credits, availability & capacity) for VFX talent and vendors globally.
- Update and maintain VFX templates in the VFX Production Manual.
- Track and manage all PPC awards submissions and deadlines with the EVP, VFX & PPC Awards Team.
- Support marketing and publicity VFX requests for current and archived titles.
- Manage departmental expenses and purchases.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum 1+ years' relevant work experience in VFX Production or VFX Vendor environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of visual effects tools, workflow, and terminology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, time-management, and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Filemaker Pro, Shot Grid, and Airtable. Knowledge of SyncSketch, Cinesync, RV, Clearview, Evercast, Photoshop, and After Effects is a plus.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong focus on providing excellent client/customer service.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $52,000.00 - 58,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
