The Nickelodeon Business & Legal Affairs Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Business and Legal Affairs team in connection with Nick-branded programming services, with a focus on original programming development and production. This position is located on the Paramount Lot in Los Angeles, California.



  • Assist with corporate housekeeping communications and documentation
  • Coordinate and draft standard legal contracts and releases
  • Track and distribute documents
  • Assist with research projects
  • Create and maintain status reports and contract summaries
  • Responsible for follow-up, execution, distribution and filing of completed contracts and related matters, and other day-to-day administrative and related tasks as needed and assigned by the VPs of Business & Legal Affairs, Attorneys and Contract Managers
  • Manage and coordinate all departmental administrative matters and office services, with general duties and obligations to include: coordinating daily/weekly/monthly calendars and schedules for executives, with oversight and responsibility for scheduling of meetings, conference calls and appointments; receiving, relaying and responding to internal and external messages and communications; handling, sorting, screening and prioritizing internal and external communications and correspondence (saving of daily emails), particularly with current production
  • Facilitate travel agreements; coordinating administrative logistics; preparing and processing expense reports; support undergraduate and graduate student interns; and utilizing practical and organizational knowledge of procedures to handle the administrative needs of the department


 •    Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and provide attention to detail.
•    Strong, polished interpersonal skills and ability to work with all types of personalities and work styles and express a client-first attitude.
•    Prior administrative experience in a business and legal affairs department or at a private practice law firm, preferably in the entertainment industry, highly desired.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    Collaborative and team-player.
•    High-level proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Instant Messenger.
•    Proven ability to simultaneously handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment and successfully meet deadlines.
•    Capacity to exercise flexibility with workload with ability to prioritize.
•    Familiarity with general entertainment industry contracts and procedures.
•    Professional demeanor and exceptional phone presentation and skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to exercise solid business judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail oriented, multi-tasker, self-motivated, diplomatic, resourceful, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess a proven ability to anticipate and resolve administrative issues or problems.  College degree, paralegal training or equivalent work experience is required.
