Overview
This position is responsible for providing a full range of administrative & coordinating support to the President, Global Content Distribution.
Paramount is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the President, Global Content Distribution, whose oversight encompasses domestic and international licensing, distribution and home entertainment. The position requires an ability to interact with staff at all levels and high profile contacts in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, all while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, communicative and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Serving as a trusted partner, gatekeeper, and representative of the executive office, the Executive Assistant exercises sound judgment, protects executive time, and upholds the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical support to the president, including handling confidential assignments, coordinating day-to-day operations, and anticipating executive’s needs.
- Assist with inbound and outbound company communication and correspondence, maintaining a strong understanding of departmental operations and business objective.
- Manage a busy, dynamic and ever-changing calendar, ensuring seamless scheduling across time zones and shifting priorities.
- Screen and triage communications, protecting the executive’s time and ensuring follow up when needed.
- General administrative tasks, including but not limited to: screening and responding to incoming calls and correspondence, managing team coordination, arranging travel both domestic and international, preparing expense reports using Concur, liasing with IT and other departments as needs arise.
- Organize and facilitate virtual, in person or hybrid meetings, overseeing all logistics including booking conference rooms, compling agendas, organizing materials, A/V set up, catering, and attendee coordination.
- Assistance with word documents, excel and creating PowerPoint presentations.
- Provide ad-hoc support across departments as needed and contribute to cross-functional efforts, including event coordinations, internal communications, process improvements, etc.
- Organize executive, corporate, and client-facing events, ensuring seamless logistics and professional representation.
- Provide on-site support for high-profile meetings and events, attending when requested.
- Serve as a liaison between the president and senior leadership, staff and external partners, communicating with authority and professionalism.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of executive assistant experience at an agency or studio
- Proficiency with MS software including Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams/Zoom and other applications. Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong organizational, communication and time-management skills; proactive and detail oriented; ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure; discreet and professional demeanor; confident, reliable, and poised.
- Familiar with a variety of industry systems, concepts, practices, and procedures
- Identifies and meets necessary deadlines without need for executive oversight
Additional Qualifications
- Good relationship and team building skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in communications, business, finance or film preferred
- Works well independently as well as part of a larger team
- Strong knowledge of industry players at agencies, studios, networks and streamers
- An interest in distribution/sales and international content is preferred but not mandatory
- Think three steps ahead and anticipate issues before they arise while remaining calm and professional

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $55,000.00 - 95,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
