Overview and Responsibilities
This position supports the development and execution of a Cash Management strategy & supporting processes in conformity with Paramount’s and industry best practices.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Support planning activities for Film, including coordination with Business Units to prepare the Long Range Plan, annual Budget, forecast updates, and various ad hoc analyses
  • Assist with maintaining the company-wide cash planning model• Prepare the rolling 13-week cash forecast, including actuals reconciliation and variance analysis
  • Liaise with Accounting and Treasury groups to plan and report actual cash flow weekly
  • Coordinate with Business Units to collect summaries and explanations of actual and forecast results
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data-gathering and forecasting processes
  • Assist in the management of risks and opportunities to achieve P&L and cash flow targets
  • Maintain and prepare the physical and Digital Transactional Cash Forecasting Model
  • Assist in preparation of any ad hoc materials as requested by internal management

 

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2 + years of progressive experience in a financial planning environment

 

Additional Qualifications
  • Robust financial modeling Excel capabilities and awareness of financial statements • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion and Essbase preferred
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interface with various professionals at all levels
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Team player with a demonstrated ability to operate in a cross-functional team environment
  • Entertainment or media industry experience strongly preferred

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $64,800.00 - 72,500.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
