Overview:
The Account Planning team at Paramount Home Entertainment supports our Global Digital Sales group with strategic insights that drive revenue, market share, and profitability across key transactional platforms. As Manager, Account Planning, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the digital business by delivering performance reporting, promotional value analysis, and forecasting that support both territory and account-level decisions.
This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Insights teams to develop actionable strategies backed by sharp financial analysis and clear storytelling. Your day-to-day will focus on core goals such as net sales, margin control, market share performance, and promotional efficiency, helping to make sure we hit both short-term goals and long-term growth targets.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed quantitative analysis to support business growth and improve profitability across global OTT and MVPD accounts
- Support the design and development of reporting and dashboard tools to deliver regular performance updates at both the territory and key account levels, including future performance forecasts
- Evaluate promotional performance, effectiveness, and ROI—considering factors such as promotion size, duration, frequency, price/discount, title strength, SVOD/AVOD availability, competitive forces, and merchandising
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate potential challenges
- Evaluate the performance of priority acquisition titles (including competitive titles), considering media spend, merchandising over time, and other factors; offer suggestions to improve future outcomes
- Provide analytical support for the development of Joint Business Plans with key digital accounts
- Track and report on account teams’ progress toward sales goals
- Assist with planning and development of future promotional initiatives
- Use Tableau to report sales performance and key drivers, enhancing existing tools and creating reports as needed
- Support additional tasks and projects on an ad hoc basis
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in sales planning, retail analysis, and/or financial planning
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong ability to “tell a story” with data—effectively shaping opinions and promoting ideas through clear, persuasive communication
Additional Qualifications:
- Highly numerate, analytical, and commercially astute
- Experience in the Entertainment or Consumer Packaged Goods industries preferred
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau)
- Skilled in SQL and/or Python
- Experience working with digital retailers preferred; international experience a plus
- Strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $86,000.00 - 96,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
