Overview and Responsibilities:
Paramount Global Content Distribution is the leading distributor of premium content across multiple media platforms throughout the global marketplace. The division's portfolio is comprised of some of the world's most recognized brands, including feature films and television programs from Paramount Pictures, Republic Pictures CBS Studios, Paramount Television Studios, CBS Media Ventures, CBS News, SHOWTIME, Nickelodeon, MTV Entertainment Studios, Miramax and third-party partners. The division also has the largest distributed library of series and film titles, including global franchises such as "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "NCIS," "Star Trek," "SpongeBob SquarePants," "Transformers," "Mission: Impossible," and more. This is a hybrid position that is located in Los Angeles.
Day-to-day responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide operational support in sales negotiations including deal analysis.
- Perform benchmarking analysis.
- Help train and mentor other Commercial Ops team members.
- This role will ensure that deals are negotiated and ultimately concluded within the parameters and policies of the studio. (Business and usage rules to be provided by legal)
- Monitor Salesforce deal workflow tasks including customer setup, customer maintenance, deal entry and approval routing.
- Create deal memos & commercial deal changes in Salesforce and manage deal approval workflow.
- Coordinate with regional sales, deal management and internal groups as needed during deal preparation and deal management.
- Field customer inquiries and coordinate with internal groups.
- Monitor franchise and library management with Content Distribution team.
- Responsible for maintaining the U.S. sales offer log.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years experience in the television/film industry in an analytical or sales support role.
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrable negotiation skills and good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with colleagues, customers and suppliers and builds good working relationships
- Track record in identifying, developing, and building revenue
- Willingness to travel

- Bachelor’s degree, desired
- Additional language skills
- Sales experience
- Strong organizational skills, possess the ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple tasks, and work under pressure within a deadline driven environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 - 107,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
