Overview and Responsibilities:

 

The Manager, Corporate Strategy plays a key supporting role in shaping Paramount’s strategic direction and strengthening its market position. Reporting to the SVP, Corporate Strategy, the Manager partners with various teams and engages in projects that drive growth and innovation across the organization. This role assists in developing insights and recommendations for leadership and helps coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives by supporting collaboration with stakeholders company wide.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Assist with strategic planning processes, including conducting market research, compiling competitive analyses, and supporting the preparation of business cases for new ventures
  • Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate growth opportunities, partnerships, and emerging business models
  • Work closely with business unit teams to help translate company strategies into actionable plans
  • Prepare clear presentations and reports for leadership, making complex analyses accessible and actionable
  • Support project coordination across cross-functional groups, tracking timelines and deliverables to ensure progress on strategic initiatives
  • Help maintain analytical tools and frameworks for decision support, such as models for market sizing and investment appraisal
  • Conduct ad-hoc research and analysis in response to strategic questions as they arise

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, corporate planning, investment banking, or similar roles, preferably in media, entertainment, or technology environments. MBB firm exp preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus
  • Solid skills in financial modeling and data analysis, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with team-members in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience preparing materials for management audiences

 

Additional Qualifications:

 

  • Exposure to streaming media, content production, or digital platforms, with understanding of subscriber economics and licensing preferred
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI/ML and their use in media, advertising, or content personalization
  • Familiarity with international media markets and global content strategies is an asset

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $130,000.00 - 150,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
