OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES:                           

The Emergency & Crisis Manager performs professional work in managing and coordinating Paramount’s efforts concerning the four phases of emergency management: mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery from acute incidents at the Paramount Pictures Studios Lot. The Manager oversees emergency plan development and coordinates the implementation of Paramount’s Emergency & Crisis Management Program to include a spectrum of activities and functions that build an efficient capacity to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from large-scale emergencies and/or disasters. This role will work onsite M-F plus OT/weekends as needed.

 

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

-  Serves as a subject matter expert in interpreting emergency management rules and regulations and an authority in both Incident Command System (ICS) and NIMS (National Incident Management System).

-  Coordinate and facilitate EOC (Emergency Operation Center) activation.

-  Collaborate with GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) management in EOC activation and GSOC personnel on intersecting projects.

-  Advise, create and conduct employee training as needed.

-  Support the security and operations/facilities teams in matters of emergency & crisis management.

-  Stay informed on current regulatory developments and maintain best practices.

-  Manage the Emergency Operation Center (EOC).

-  Work with regulatory agencies' regulations as needed.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-  7 years of progressive experience in emergency management program development and management.

-  An ICS and NIMS expert.

-  Completion of training using the NIMS or ICS

-  Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management or a related field of study.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
-  Possess one or more of the following certifications:

  • International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) Certificate
  • Emergency Management Professional Certification
  • Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Professional Development Series (PDS) Certificate

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $98,400.00 - 123,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
