We are looking for a highly motivated program manager who will be in charge of the consolidation of Paramount digital screener platforms and managing the product roadmap. The Senior Manager of Content Security will collaborate with all brands and cross-functional business units across the global enterprise. This role involves working in tandem with senior executives to build consensus on use cases, platform requirements, and the design of screener platforms.

 

In this joint role as the product owner and product manager, you will create and develop the product roadmap. You will work closely with the Vice President of Content Security, and collaboratively, you will ensure that the strategic vision aligns with Paramount’s goals and targets. This includes researching what is currently in use at Paramount and analyzing data, including finances, to identify the best platform solutions.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as Product Owner (PO) and Product Manager (PM) for existing and future digital screener products, leading operations and communications with vendors and internal teams.
  • Develop, execute and implement strategy, vision, and prioritization of the respective screeners' product roadmap to developers (e.g. ensuring product features and functionality meet the requirements of platform partners.
  • In charge of managing the budget of screener platform(s).
  • Define platform requirements, use cases, and business needs to establish a consolidated global secure screener platform(s).
  • Redefine and optimize the overall operational workflow of screener platforms to increase efficiency.
  • Lead all client onboarding and expansion efforts, identifying product and workflow requirements; further, leading group launch and new user onboarding.
  • Brief partner team and users on new feature/platform announcements, new content availability, and incident/issue alert and resolutions.
  • Institute regular platform partner meetings and vendor meetings to provide visibility about the product roadmap, product performance, and feature requests and improvements.
  • As the subject matter expert (SME), provide demonstrations of the screener platforms for Studio Executives, collaborative partners, and users.
  • Advance the internal user experience (including admins) by building and updating user guides and troubleshooting tools.
  • Identify, research and document potential future-use security products, for use in the Content Security space (e.g., Digital products or process Content).
  • Build and maintain projects and workflows using tools such as Asana and Airtable and evaluate, recommend, and become the team expert on other tools that may increase productivity for the Content Security team and other Technical Operations teams.
  • Function as an Integral member of Paramount Content Protection team comprised of Legal, Technology, and Operations.
  • Occasionally work non-standard shifts and/or on-call to support the requirements of the organization.

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of project management experience within the Entertainment or Technology Entertainment Industry.
  • Experience with the entire lifecycle of screener products, from RFP to launch and continuing development
  • Mobile platform development and digital content distribution required.
  • 5+ years product development experience, including processes and methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban etc.)
  • BA or BS degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications in one of more of the following: SSCP, Security+, GISF, CSX – or willingness to obtain one within the first year.

Additional Qualifications:

 

  • Expertise in requirements definition, user stories, and acceptance criteria within the Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience working across diverse partners and building consensus
  • Ability to maintain a big-picture view, and weigh varied/multiple factors when making product decisions
  • Deep knowledge of the ability to communicate verbal technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Communication in translating business requirements into technical specs for developers
  • Proficient executive level communication and presentation (written and verbal), customer service, and listening skills 
  • Proven success in dealing with senior business executives at all levels required Able to learn and retain new skills as required to support a continually changing technical environment
  • Continuously investing in deep awareness of media security trends and developments in the marketplace and new innovations
  • Proficient reasoning and problem solution skills Must be able to maintain the highest level of discretion with sensitive, compartmentalized data
  • Driven, high vigor and aim to succeed
  • Ability to work dynamically within a cross-functional team environment and be a true teammate
  • Knowledge of Digital Workflows, Audio and Video file formats, and related Media Management Development and Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Background in Content Security, Development Security, or equivalent experience preferred

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

 

Hiring Salary Range: $110,000.00 - 118,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
