Overview:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Work collaboratively with the Director of Toys to formulate category strategies to meet and exceed our long-term brand plans and financial goals

Identify, develop, and implement new business initiatives in the assigned categories

Analyze, pitch, and negotiate new business deals and seek opportunities for growth across new product categories and retailers

Drive all quarterly forecasts and business reviews with licensees. Monitor sales results to ensure revenues meet budgetary goals

Serve as primary driver to provide support, information, and materials for licensees to improve development of new products and continued retail expansion of existing products

Collaborate with Consumer Product business leaders to drive the category business strategies across all Paramount franchises

Collaborate with Retail Development teams to track performance, address issues and launch strategies. Ensuring licensees are up to date on all major retail initiatives and are actively pitching products for all key seasons throughout the year

Lead daily communication with the Global Creative Group to coordinate all product development goals; including product approvals and any rush requests

Develop line manager responsibility for coordinator on assigned categories. Providing direction, managing workload, tasks and career progression

Manage day to day relationship with licensees including contract management and negotiations

Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and competitive landscape to share with wider organization and adapt key toy strategies where needed

Maintain weekly updates with internal and external collaborators to track performance, address issues and launch strategies

Ensure licensees deliver product lines suitable for core category & brand values

Liaise with retail teams to ensure the line delivers against key partner requirements

Prepare product presentations for retail development team and internal staff meetings

Domestic & International Travel may be required
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree required
-
7+ years working in a licensing, marketing, or consumer products sales role
Additional Qualifications

Deep knowledge of the e-commerce landscape preferred

Goal setter to meet department objectives and develops operational plans and processes

Line Management Experience

Leads or contributes to complex projects and develops solutions

Flexible and able to adapt to diverse projects and competing priorities

Highly collaborative and effective at working with cross-functional teams

Robust knowledge of Paramount’s brand position and retail environment

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Solid time management skills and organization

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 130,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
