Commercial Preditor, (Multi Skilled Editor/Producer), CBS WFOR Miami

CBS WFOR, Miami, has an awesome opportunity as our muti-skilled Commercial Preditor with our Sales team with an extensive background in videography and non-linear editing.  You will work closely with our sales team, local clients and corporate stakeholders to create award winning multi-platform creative.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, move seamlessly between projects to meet tight deadlines
  • Current with new trends in commercial production, willing to work with new and developing technologies
  • Conceptualize, brainstorm and execute creative messaging
  • Source/schedule site location and potential talent 
  • Identify production needs and pre-production plan
  • Write scripts, shoot, log and edit video
  • Track production budget and schedule projects
  • Select music, b-roll, stock footage and voice over talent
  • Communicate with internal team and client stakeholders


Preferred Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:

  • A degree in film production or another relevant field preferred
  • Prior experience with commercial production or similar role
  • Excellent time management and organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
  • Willingness to work irregular hours
  • Work well with others in high paced, sometimes stressful environments
