CBS News Miami is looking for a dynamic reporter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for original storytelling, bring story ideas to the table daily, and a desire to be on the lead story. The reporter will also be responsible for enterprising content and executing a story from start to finish. The candidate will also have a strong on-camera presence and great live reporting skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Develop and executive enterprise content daily
•    Cover breaking news when assigned
•    Work with a photographer to gather and edit compelling video and captivating sound
•    Work with news managers and producers to develop stories 
•    Produce content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and other social media platforms
•    Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Ability to develop sources who provide tips and allow reporter to break exclusive stories
•    Write clear, concise and compelling copy
•    Ability to juggle multiple stories and projects at once
•    Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays is required
•    Flexibility to travel to big news events including breaking news
•    Must be a team player who can multi-task and possess the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
•    Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
•    Journalism degree is preferred
