What’s the role?

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic communications Director to drive impactful storytelling and media engagement for our international streaming brands/executives and support the corporate communication of Paramount International Markets. This role is responsible for developing and driving comprehensive communications plans, press strategies, and executive materials, including press releases, internal memos, and speeches—that align with our business priorities and elevate our global profile.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in crafting narratives, securing high-visibility media coverage, and identifying speaking opportunities that improve executive visibility and thought leadership. They will collaborate closely with senior leadership to run proactive and reactive messaging, support crisis communications, and ensure alignment across internal and external partners.

Success in this role requires a strong background in corporate communications within the entertainment, streaming, or technology sectors, exceptional writing and editing skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be a collaborative team player with a strategic attitude and a passion for storytelling that resonates across audiences.

What are we looking for?

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Communications Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans, press strategies, and materials—including press releases, fact sheets, internal memos, and executive speeches—with a focus on international executives and streaming brands.
• Narrative Development: Shape compelling narratives and pitch story ideas that align with the company’s business priorities and strategic goals.
• Media Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with top-tier media across trade, television, and business sectors to secure impactful coverage.
• Content Creation: Leverage insights and performance metrics to craft timely and engaging press releases and news alerts for Paramount International Streaming programming.
• Executive Visibility: Identify and secure high-profile speaking opportunities at industry events to improve executive visibility and thought leadership.
• Message Development: Build proactive and reactive messaging, including talking points for media interviews and public speaking engagements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align communications with product launches, corporate initiatives, and achievements.
• Crisis Communications: Partner with executive leadership to develop rapid response strategies and communications during crises or sensitive issues.
• Corporate Communications Support: Contribute to broader corporate communications initiatives and projects across Paramount Streaming.

That‘s why we want you to have:

Basic Qualifications:

• Native English speaker or advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Bachelor's degree required
• 8 years of relevant experience in communications, preferably within the entertainment, streaming, and/or technology industries
• Experience with developing and advancing corporate narratives both internally and externally
• Excellent writing and editing skills required

Additional Qualifications:

• Proficiency in an additional language besides English is highly valued
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and maintain confidentiality as needed
• Must be collaborative, flexible, and capable of working across various business groups across the company
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle a complex and evolving workload in a timely and efficient manner
