Account Manager

This is a permanent full-time role based in BRISBANE. 

Enough about us! What you’ll do as an Account Manager:  

The Account Manager is responsible for maximising revenue potential by meeting and exceeding revenue goals by providing innovative multi-platform advertising solutions to customers. 

Our Brisbane team works in the office Monday – Thursday and WFH on Fridays.   

Responsibilities will include:  

• Delivering exceptional customer service by tailoring presentations to client-specific needs and a pro-active approach to maximising revenue. 
• Proactively prospecting for new clients and business opportunities. 
• Consistently achieving and exceeding sales and market share targets within the allocated portfolio of Agency clients. 
• Providing accurate and timely forecasts of achievement to budgets and goals. 
• Pro-actively maximising revenue opportunities through identifying clients’ marketing challenges and working with internal resources to provide strategic solutions. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients. 
• Continually and pro-actively developing your knowledge and expertise of the Paramount and Network 10 ecosystem, including marketing expertise, business knowledge, researching tools and techniques, and the competitive environment. 
• Managing an effective system for organising priorities and activities. 
• Guiding and mentoring the eager Account Executive in your team. 

What are we looking for in an Account Manager? What’s important?   

• Demonstrated experience in B2B selling including new business development and ability to show proven results 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence. 
• Experience determining client’s needs and designing tailored solutions.  
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to ensure value is maximised for both clients and the business. 
• Excellent presentation skills, ability to engage and influence your target audience. 
• Strong drive and ambition, capable of working autonomously and managing time effectively. 
• Ability to foster strong relationships and hold a great reputation in market. 
• A genuine interest in media sales and working in a high performing team. 
• Great computer skills and the ability to learn new media sales systems quickly. 

Preferred but not essential 

• Previous media or advertising industry experience would be great, but not essential  
• Exposure to IBMS and/or Salesforce systems would be an advantage
