Overview & Responsibilities:

The Associate Producer for 247Sports is a self-starter who supports the shows with regards to video and graphics, while taking direction from producers. Primary responsibilities include providing guidance over the production assistants in all aspects of production from supervising b-roll & game highlights to creating and coordinating graphical elements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Build & fire live studio graphics with Ross XPression
• Segment produce shows, podcasts & segments as requested by the Coordinating Producer & Producer
• Exercise editorial judgment in selection of content
• Apply knowledge of Inception in building rundowns, formatting and producing shows from control rooms
• Communicate regularly with studio producers and other production contributors to discuss developing news and provide guidance on the presentation of that news within our programming

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in broadcast, producing segments
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere & Ross XPression
• Experience in a control room
• Superior knowledge of college basketball & college football
• Available to work all shifts, including early mornings, weekends, overnights, and holidays

Additional Qualifications:

• Adept in building a rundown to anticipate the needs of the stream with regards to video, graphics, scripts and other elements
• Ability to handle many projects simultaneously, keeping up in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Time management skills
• Knowledge of high school basketball recruiting & high school football recruiting
• 3-5 years of work experience in broadcast, producing segments
