Senior Director, Global Operations Source to Pay Solution

Overview

The Global Operations Center of Excellence (COE) at Paramount drives operational excellence across the enterprise. In partnership with Procurement, Accounts Payable (AP), Facilities, Security, and Order to Cash, the COE ensures consistency, compliance, and performance through scalable processes and governance.

 

The Senior Director of Source to Pay Solutions Architecture & Intelligent Automation leads the design, integration, and governance of endtoend SourcetoPay (S2P) capabilities that drive process excellence, digital enablement, and enterprise agility. This role serves as the chief architect for S2P transformation, partnering with business leaders, technology teams, and external providers to define and implement futurestate capabilities across platforms including SAP Ariba, Oracle Fusion, and other ERP ecosystems.

 

The role also oversees AI development initiatives within Global Operations Centers of Excellence, advancing automation, decision intelligence, and measurable efficiency gains across Procurement, Accounts Payable, Facilities, Security, and OrdertoCash.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the enterprise-wide S2P architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational performance goals, and technology standards.
  • Architect integrated workflows across sourcing, contracting, procurement, invoicing, and payment processes.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, modular, and interoperable system designs.
  • Oversee integration strategies across ERP platforms, procurement tools, supplier networks, and financial systems.
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to ensure seamless data flow, system interoperability, and system performance optimization.
  • Drive automation, digitization, and workflow simplification initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve cycle times.
  • Establish and enforce architectural governance frameworks to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Audit teams to embed controls, regulatory requirements, and riskmitigation measures into solution design.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on technology investments, capability roadmaps, and transformation priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops to align business needs, technical capabilities, and change impacts.
  • Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to inform future-state architecture.
  • Conduct system assessments, gap analyses, and maturity evaluations to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Oversee postimplementation reviews and drive continuous improvement across S2P processes and platforms.

 

AI Development Responsibilities

 

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI and automation use cases across Global Operations functions.
  • Design and prototype AIenabled workflows leveraging LLMs, machine learning models, and automation tools integrated with ERP platforms.
  • Partner with data teams to ensure data readiness, quality, governance, and compliance for AI model development and deployment.
  • Implement responsible AI practices, including security, governance, and ethical standards aligned with corporate policies.
  • Define performance metrics, monitoring processes, and lifecycle management for AI solutions, including drift detection and retraining protocols.
  • Collaborate with Change Management to develop training, adoption strategies, and user enablement for AIdriven tools.
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors on AI capability roadmaps, integration standards, and coinnovation opportunities.
  • Report on AIdriven efficiency gains, cost savings, adoption metrics, and business impact to senior leadership.
  • Partner with technology leaders to identify high-value AI opportunities.
  • Document source to pay requirements for development teams to write specifications and
  • AI solution designs.

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or systems integration
  • Deep expertise in Source to Pay processes and platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Fusion)
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives in global organizations
  • Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, AP, and financial operations
  • Experience with AI/ML concepts, tools, and integration into business workflows preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $160,000.00 - 210,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
