Overview & Responsibilities:

 

The Global Operations Center of Excellence (COE) at Paramount is a strategic driver of operational excellence across the enterprise. In partnership with Procurement, Global Business Services, Accounts Payable (AP), Facilities, Security, and Order to Cash, the COE ensures uniformity, compliance, and performance through scalable processes and governance.

As Senior Director of Policy, you will develop the operational governance framework that drives efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment across Paramount’s Global Operations! This role will serve as the enterprise authority on policy governance, ensuring that all operational policies are clear, current, compliant, and aligned with strategic objectives.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Lead the creation and revision of policies, driving standardization across Procurement, Expense, Accounts Payable, Facilities, Security, and Order to Cash functions!
  • Establish and maintain a centralized policy framework that ensures uniformity, transparency, and alignment with regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to interpret complex operational requirements and translate them into actionable, enforceable policies.
  • Ensure all policies are detailed, approved, and published in accordance with governance protocols.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and internal audit findings to proactively improve policies and mitigate operational risk.
  • Partner with Legal, Audit, and Compliance teams to ensure policies meet all applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Conduct periodic policy reviews and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement or clarification.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on policy matters impacting operational performance and compliance.
  • Facilitate cross-functional policy alignment efficiently through workshops, partner reviews, and governance forums.
  • Communicate policy changes effectively across global teams, ensuring awareness and understanding at all levels.
  • Drive the development of policy-related training content and support documentation in close collaboration with the Change Management and Training teams.
  • Partner with Change Management and Training teams to embed policy awareness into transformation and onboarding programs.
  • Provide mentorship and support to operational teams on policy interpretation and application.
  • Define and track key performance indicators related to policy adoption, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Prepare regular reports and executive summaries highlighting policy status, updates, and strategic impact.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in policy development, operational governance, or compliance leadership
  • Deep understanding of operational functions including procurement, AP, facilities, security, and order to cash
  • Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a global, matrixed environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, or related field

 

Additional Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in regulated industries or large-scale enterprise environments
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSOD, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and operational workflows (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Certification in compliance, governance, or risk management (e.g., CCEP, CGEIT)
