Account Executive, Local Paramount Advertising

Paramount is seeking an experienced, high-performing Local Media sales executive to lead strategic partnerships with the industry's top advertising agencies. This role will be responsible for spearheading Local revenue growth, developing new business, and expanding Paramount's share of business across the full Paramount Skydance portfolio, including Paramount+, Pluto TV, CBS O&O Stations, and more.As a key member of the Key Agency Local Streaming Team, this individual will serve as a sales lead and trusted partner to major agency stakeholders, developing high-impact sponsorships across streaming and digital platforms as well as CBS O&O station properties. This role requires a strategic seller with deep Local Media agency relationships, exceptional consultative sales skills, and the ability to influence and grow business at the highest levels of the advertising ecosystem.

Position Expectations:

• Own and grow strategic Local Media relationships with key decision-makers across assigned Hold Cos on behalf of Paramount Streaming
• Drive significant digital revenue growth through innovative, integrated client solutions
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing agency partnerships
• Act as a strategic consultant to agency partners by understanding client goals and aligning Paramount's portfolio to deliver measurable business outcomes
• Develop customized cross-platform proposals leveraging Local streaming, digital, branded content, broadcast, and sponsorship opportunities
• Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, research, operations, and leadership teams to develop and execute revenue-driving strategies
• Lead campaign execution from pre-sale strategy through post-campaign recap and performance analysis
• Utilize marketplace intelligence, competitive insights, and consumer trends to identify opportunities for growth and strengthen Paramount's market position
• Work closely with and develop Account Managers that support the agency business

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of overall advertising and Local Media streaming experience
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and securing high-value advertising partnerships
• Deep understanding of the Local Media advertising marketplace, including streaming, digital media, and broadcast TV
• Strong strategic selling, negotiation, presentation, business development, and closing skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities
• Ability to translate complex media solutions into clear, compelling value propositions for clients and agencies
• Established reputation as a collaborative, solutions-oriented sales leader

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience selling Local streaming, digital, or OTT inventory
• Familiarity with Paramount+, Pluto TV, or FAST/AVOD platforms
• Strong business development skills, with the ability to unlock new opportunities within an assigned book of business
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience with Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred
• Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities

Education:

• Bachelor's degree preferred

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $90,000.00 - 145,000.00. 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.  This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
