Overview:
 
The Analyst, Operations Management supports the Global Business Operations team in creating and maintaining the processes and systems that enable global ad delivery across a multi-platform digital environment. The ideal candidate for this role is a digital media professional with experience in FreeWheel (FW) ad serving architecture, technical project management, and data science. A successful candidate will be aware with digital media operations processes, systems, emerging platforms, and particularly the digital video ecosystem.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Support global metadata management, ensuring that data flows properly through the global ad server, FreeWheel.
  • Verify that videos in FreeWheel are correctly tagged to ensure expected ad delivery.
  • Troubleshoot & flag data issues in FW and collaborates with Global Feeds, Global Video Operations, and Global Ad Trafficking teams to tackle discrepancies.
  • Create and manage video groups in FW to facilitate custom ad targeting and sponsorships.
  • Address inquiries related to specific ad loads for videos within FW.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and QA testing of ad loads for all international and domestic ad tier releases to ensure correct ad placements.
  • Assist in creating commercial break patterns (CBPs) for domestic and international networks, including special sales, sold sponsorships, and brand promos.
  • Maintain and update existing CBPs, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Troubleshoot CBPs that are not functioning as expected and work towards resolution.
  • Leverage data visualization platforms troubleshoot metadata issues and protect revenue.
 
Basic Qualifications: 
 
  • 1+ years of experience.
  • Experience digital ad operations at a publisher, ad tech company, ad agency or ad network.
  • Experience in FreeWheel ad serving.
  • Proficient technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create and manage project documentation.
  • Familiarity with digital ad operations, particularly in video and programmatic advertising.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, project management tools, and data analysis.
  • Post secondary degree (BA, BS).
 
Additional Qualifications: 
 
  • Experience with SQL preferred.
  • Experience in an Ad Operations role (Traffic or Inventory Management in Digital).
  • Knowledge of digital streaming and partner integrations across desktop, mobile, and associated device platforms.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools (MS SharePoint, JIRA).
  • Business Analyst or Project Management certification preferred.
  • Well-developed communication and collaboration skills.
