Overview and Responsibilities
Paramount Tech is hiring a highly motivated Business Analyst to bridge the gap between the Paramount technology teams and Ad Sales business partners. The successful candidate will be crucial in understanding and translating business requirements into technical solutions, using their understanding of software development and proficiency in data management techniques. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on technical experience and business insight, allowing the candidate to significantly impact our projects and initiatives.
This position is responsible for collaborating across multiple Technology practice areas. The analyst will effectively identify and implement process improvement initiatives, schedule, and quality of deliverables. This includes portfolio analysis, planning for portfolio modernization, and analysis and planning of technical upgrades. This role will also contribute to developing Business Reports, Project Metrics, Lessons Learned, and Quality Process Improvement initiatives. The Business Analyst will support an integrated suite of applications for revenue-impacting systems to support an Ad Sales division of Paramount – from pre-sales to pricing, execution, billing, measurement, and analytics. This role is a critical resource with the ability to respond quickly with technology that helps the Ad Sales team optimize current planned revenue and expand the benefits of the application suite to other lines of business. This resource will directly impact on our ability to deliver the required level of service to the Ad Sales team and Paramount.
Basic Qualifications
- Strong data management skills, including understanding of DB structures, data modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Strong analytical techniques; experience in documenting processes and identifying problems with as-is analysis and applying technical solutions
- Experience with Technology Project Execution (e.g., estimation, scoping, build, budget, staffing, vendor management, contract management, deployment and release management, organizational change management, and quality assurance)
Additional Qualifications
- Ability in coding and scripting languages, such as Python, Java, SQL, etc.
- Experience with project activities on large scale projects and programs
- Self-motivated, and decisive, with the ability to adapt to change.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $80,000.00 - 95,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
