Coordinator, Global Distribution Operations & Fulfillment

Overview and Responsibilities:

We're seeking a Coordinator to join the Global Distribution & Fulfillment Operations team who manages the global content distribution for Paramount Media Networks, MTVE, Showtime, Comedy Central, CMT, BET, VH1, Smithsonian, Nickelodeon, and Awesomeness. The team oversees content deliveries to over 1,200 partners and clients worldwide, ensuring timely communication of asset deliverable types and ETAs, and handling rejections, redeliveries, and other fulfillment-related tasks. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Coordinate assets to fulfillment vendors for distribution needs across various media, including SVOD, AVOD, TVOD, Pay TV, basic linear broadcast, airlines, cruise ships, hotel pay-per-view, and physical home entertainment.

• Submit Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders to vendors at start of project orders.
• Update Airtable trackers with content delivery statuses, staying up to date on ETA’s and final completion dates.
• Coordinate and handle the selection of episodic imagery and preview timecodes for EST exhibition (electronic-sell-through) across domestic and global platforms.
• Aggregate source metadata into client metadata templates, reviewing for accuracy, and provide to fulfillment vendors for file package deliveries to third-party licensees.
• Coordinate opening show pages on corporate-wide screening platform, Indee, on behalf of all studio brands.
• Enter title metadata for each show project.
• Upload locked cuts and final cuts as requested.
• Act as screener publisher whenever necessary.
• Ensure content and metadata is uploaded when changes to show pages and content occur.
• Coordinate content publishing for Awards teams whenever necessary.
• Assist Supervisor of Global Content Fulfillment in retrieval of legacy Viacom assets and storage to MTVE/Showtime’s Asset Media Management (SAMMe) archival server for future distribution fulfillment.
• Enter MTVE/Showtime/Viacom fulfillment order requests onto Airtable tracker to keep delivery and client information organized and centralized for easy tracking and reporting purposes.
• Assist in the DVD and Blu-Ray (BD) production for Showtime and MTVE titles slated for physical home entertainment release.
• Provide the Authoring & Encoding (A&E) vendors with title metadata, key art, imagery, credit obligations, etc.
• Review check discs and provide functionality issues and other QC notes and final approvals, track check disc versions.
• Ensure final A&E files are archived to SAMMe.
• Help in the coordination of creating valuable bonus features, working with various marketing teams to create exclusive content for home entertainment.
• Perform and assist in tasks related to departmental special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in media distribution or related field.
• Intermediate knowledge of distribution workflows, various film, video, audio and digital formats, closed captioning and subtitle formats, various aspect ratios, QC processes, file delivery applications, and an elementary understanding of technical specifications.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office/365, Aspera, Media Shuttle, and other relative distribution applications.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $24.04 - 29.81. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
