Role Details:
The Product Marketing & Commercialization team consists of product marketers and strategists who translate Paramount’s IP, platforms, and inventory into market-ready advertising products, defining packaging, positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies that drive scalable revenue.
The Coordinator of Product Marketing & Commercialization, Social, will support our social business. The Social Strategy team is responsible for developing and advancing social sponsorship strategy for the Paramount brands, empowering and educating Sales on social solutions for brands, and innovating and improving our social offerings in response to evolving client needs. The Social Strategy team supports the sales process from ideation to execution for sponsored campaigns that run on social media platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in this fast-paced and quickly evolving marketplace.

 

Your Day-to-Day:
● Liaise with content teams to vet sponsored content opportunities for social distribution, developing strong relationships with our content team, and becoming an expert in Paramount content

● Develop opportunity one-sheets and media plans, ensuring key sales materials are up to date

● Act as a product expert in Paramount’s social ad inventory (X Amplify, TikTok Pulse Premiere)

● Assist in the management of post-sale execution of sponsorships on our social platforms, including tracking key creative assets, monitoring live elements to ensure peak performance, and preparing client-facing wrap reports.

● Act as a social content expert, researching and analyzing internal and external reporting to identify content trends and optimizations to uplevel our offering.

● Assist with day-to-day and team advancement projects (e.g., internal process audits and improvements) that create new efficiencies and improve work quality.

● Contribute to brainstorm sessions and weekly meetings, keeping and distributing notes and records to internal stakeholders.


Basic Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree with experience in social, digital media, or relevant marketing or analytics field

● 0-1 year experience (strong internship experience considered) 

 

Additional Qualifications: 

● Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously

● Strong copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in plain, easy-to-understand language

● Positive, insatiably curious, and resourceful, with a strong ethic

● A keen interest in entertainment, the streaming landscape, and social media preferred

● Photo and/or graphic-editing skills (for creating mockups for advertisers) preferred

● A strong grasp of what’s trending in the social media space is preferred

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 57,500.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
