The Paramount+ International Marketing team is looking for a Director of Content Personalization & Automation to help our international marketing efforts across multiple streaming brands! As a leader in this role, you will be responsible for driving content personalization for Paramount+ International users across all channels, including but not limited to our Direct to Consumer application, email, push, and paid ads.


A successful candidate will exhibit professional excellence, and expertise in content personalization and understanding how to drive content discovery. This Director will have the exciting chance to create a significant impact while working with a diverse and dynamic group of professionals.   • Responsible for driving personalization across all channels including (apps, email, push, paid other channels)
  • Define top-performing metrics, identify key performance indicators, and deliver a plan to optimize campaigns regularly
  • Develop and implement an automation strategy for carousels in different merchandising avenues throughout the Paramount+ platform
  • Write and handle the code for all automated carousels
  • Analyze carousel performance per region to ensure merchandising coverage
  • Support central with improvements to the existing carousel strategy
  • Assemble a list of requests and improvements to the automated carousel tool to improve scale and provide the list to external teams to refine our tooling
  • Construct carousels to support the launch of browse, automated hubs, and automated kid profiles, as well as handle the cold start carousel placement of titles
  • Track the ongoing performance of personalization features and identify areas of improvement
  • Partner with the Data Science and Technology teams to test various Machine Learning models and report on performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product and business teams to identify new opportunities for personalization and content discovery
  • Build and deliver presentations that explain experimentation practices, recommendation capabilities, and roadmaps


Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Data Science or related field
  • 7+ years of expertise in a data-intensive field (i.e. using recommendations algorithms or other machine learning-related products)
  • Experience with Python in an enterprise environment
  • Exposure to an OTT/CTV media environment
  • Understanding of modern ML/AI approaches and experience with personalization and recommendation products, as well as features that are powered by machine learning

Additional Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field, preferred
  • Validated successful and productive collaboration with partners, as well as cross-functional collaborators
  • Highly organized, analytical, and meticulous, with an ability to balance and prioritize several projects and derive meaning from data through testing and optimization
  • Agility and flexibility to adapt to changes in schedules and delivery
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills and present high-quality documents to leadership
  • Exposure to product management, project management
  • Experience with multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Amazon, Roku, Apple TV) and software/tools (Jira, Excel, and Adobe Analytics)
  • Streaming industry experience, including knowledge of current trends
