Overview:
Activation is a group dedicated to campaign development and execution across Paramount’s Ad Solutions. We partner with the Pitch and Creative teams to develop integrated marketing solutions that drive upfront and scatter budgets. Then, lead the activation of custom partner programs across all Paramount screens and networks (except BET), in collaboration with channel constituents. In addition, we manage all campaign work regarding Upfront Advertisers with sold marketing and an identified property, from pitch through activation.
Reporting to the VP, as Director, you will manage client-facing activation of linear, digital and social media marketing programs for the Kids & Family and Influence Group. You will interact with cross-disciplinary teams including clients, media agencies, Ad Solutions, creative, production, social media, editorial, legal, standards,and external vendors.
Directors work with the Ad Sales team to identify areas of opportunity and troubleshooting approaches to reach company and client goals in addition to acting as a team point person for all aspects of ideation, creation, activation and fulfillment of marketing programs. You are responsible for managing specific processes, such as vetting ideas with key stakeholder departments, securing partner materials/assets, building social media promotional strategies, and supervising the production of custom content across all platforms.
Responsibilities:

Serve as the main contact for RFP responses, including leading creative briefings and collaborations

Partner with cross-functional teams to review and align on creative concepts

Develop campaign elements and confirm production budgets

Assist with presentations as needed

Develop and package proactive marketing opportunities tied to show IP and cultural events utilizing insights, research, and social platform expertise

Lead all aspects of your assigned marketing programs after they are approved, including managing agency and client partners

Collaborate with Creative and channel teams on producing and delivering content

Own timeline management to keep concepts and deliverables on schedule

Develop pre-pro materials and representing client needs on set

Lead campaign launch efforts from planning through execution

Collaborate with media activation and cultural intelligence teams on reporting

Be the main contact for assigned properties and events. Work with the channel teams to keep up with production plans and requirements. Collaborate on sponsor opportunities during the show and at other times. Show points then help prepare sales materials to pitch these opportunities

Identify best practices to apply to the team’s day-to-day efforts

Manage Manager/Associate Manager/Coordinator on team
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
-
8 + years’ experience in in Media/Tech, Ad Sales, Integrated Marketing and/or agency experience
-
Fierce attention to detail, superb organization, project & time management skills
-
Collaborative spirit and a proactive mindset is a must

Robust knowledge of Google Workspace, including Drive, Sheets, Slides and Docs, as well as Photoshop with top-notch presentation design skills

Excellent task ownership, problem-solving and research skills
-
Interest in social media, digital platforms, and the larger media landscape

Unique balance of disciplined strategic thinking, creative passion, and a willingness to be hands-on

Exemplary oral and written communication skills

Ability to manage both up and down

Comfortable using AI regularly for tasks and projects

Impeccably high standards for quality work

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $124,000.00 - 155,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
