We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Media Sales team at BET! The Executive Assistant will support the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Media Sales. They will interact daily with the EVP to support travel, meeting/team coordination duties, and all administrative needs. 


Overview and Responsibilities: 
•    Create and maintain EVP's meeting calendar
•    Coordinate client/agency meetings and external/internal conference calls for EVP
•    Assist EVP with special Ad Sales projects
•    Maintain and coordinate receipts for expense reports
•    Draft correspondence, expertly interact with high level executives and clients, book all travel, hotel and airfare accommodations for business travel, make reservations, buy client gifts, some light errands, etc.
•    Maintain contact list with key CMO and Brand/Agency Executives for EVP
•    Documents - several documents due daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly, and must be done with a detailed eye
•    Coordinate client entertaining events from venue selection, to creating invites, and managing guest list and headcount
•    Research new and existing brands, along with uncovering new agencies for NY sales team outreach efforts


Basic Qualifications:
•    Minimum 1+ years of Administrative/Executive Assistant experience, preferably supporting senior leadership 


Additional Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's Degree preferred
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills 
•    Strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to work well in a team, as well as with internal and external clients
•    Calendar Management - Proficient in Zoom and Microsoft teams
•    Professional phone demeanor
•    Ability to take initiative and prioritize work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint is mandatory
•    Flexible with overtime as needed
