Overview and Responsibilities:
The FP&A Manager – The Free Press will support the News Organization of Paramount a Skydance Corporation and will focus primarily on The Free Press(TFP) division.
As part of an aligned FP&A team, the FP&A Manager – The Free Press will report into the VP, FP&A and the President & Publisher of The Free Press and will assist in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of forecasts and budgets, tracking performance, managing monthly operating expenses, and using analysis to drive informed decision-making.

This role reports to the VP Finance and the President & Publisher of The Free Press.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining complex financial models to support the budgeting, forecasting, expense optimization and expansion of The Free Press
- Develop and maintain subscriber cohort, retention models, analyzing trends, and churn behavior
- Track and report on key subscription metrics, including CAC, LTV and ARPU
- Assist Accounting in monthly/quarterly close which includes preparation of accruals, reconciliation, and variance analysis of forecast to actual results
- Create strategic value-added analyses around using key KPI and core business metrics to drive better decisions and results
- Work with internal business partners gaining insight and knowledge that could affect forecasts
- Ad hoc requests and analyses will be frequent
- Handle some operational duties beyond FP&A and finance
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6-7+ years of work experience in finance, accounting, or similar quantitative role; media, entertainment, and/or technology experience a plus
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace suite skills, particularly Excel/Sheets and Powerpoint/Slides
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Demonstrable experience working in a subscription-based and deep understanding and proven ability to model subscription metrics
- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities
Additional Qualifications:
- Finance/Economics/Mathematics/Accounting major preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Experience with P&L management and forecasting

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 115,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
