Overview and Responsibilities:
The Financial Analyst will be an important member of the Paramount DTC Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Primary responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy and integrity of forecasts and budgets, tracking performance, managing monthly operating expenses, and using analysis to assist in driving informed decision making. This position focuses on the Central Services but will also involve all other Business Units within Paramount Streaming. The position has the added benefit of providing multiple growth opportunities both in the existing role and across the broader FP&A team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Be a trusted business partner within the DTC G&A Departments. Assist with the coordination with different leads to analyze and mitigate risk, find efficiencies, and accurately forecast each department’s PnL. In total there are 10+ Departments including, but not limited to Legal, HR, Accounting and Facilities
- Work on business models to manage budgeting/forecasting of the monthly P&L and drive the annual budget and financial plans for DTC G&A Departments
- Reconciliation and variance analysis of forecast to actual results. Work with Accounting in preparation for monthly close and analysis of results versus forecast/budget.
- Expense management, risk analysis and mitigation. Actively monitor expense levers and cost controls, such as headcount assumptions, required to maintain profitability and achieve budgeted profit targets.
- Other ad hoc requests and analyses
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or equivalent quantitative roles
- Strong communicator with the ability to moderate based on audience and demonstrate an ability to partner with a range of cross functional partners
- Experience in a highly analytical environment
- Strong work ethic and an acute attention to detail required
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Experience with Salesforce, Cognos TM1 and Oracle Financials a plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 72,500.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
