We are seeking a strategic Lead Product Manager to spearhead analytics efforts within our payments ecosystem and to lead all aspects of payments integrations! In this role, you will demonstrate data to drive insights, optimize payment performance, and deliver innovative solutions that improve customer experiences and support business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Finance, Engineering, Legal and Operations, to craft the future of our payment’s strategy!
Key Responsibilities
Product Leadership:
- Own the end-to-end analytics process for payments, including data collection, modeling, and reporting.
- Establish critical metrics and build dashboards to track payment performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design experiments to test payment features and new solutions.
- Take the lead on payment integrations, incorporating new payment methods and optimization software.
- Implement and handle advanced analytics tools, frameworks, and systems to support payments analytics.
Payments Optimization:
- Analyze payment success rates, costs, and fraud metrics to recommend improvements processes and systems.
- Partner with Product peers to optimize payment flows, reduce transaction failures, and improve customer happiness.
- Provide actionable insights to reduce costs and improve revenue through payment strategy optimization.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, new technologies, and payment innovations.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with Engineering and Finance to ensure accurate and reliable payment data and compliance with relevant regulations and security standards.
- Partner with Fraud & Risk to identify and mitigate risks associated with payment processes.
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to executive partners, enabling data-driven decision-making, and contribute to strategic discussions on global payment solutions and partnerships.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in analytics within Payments, FinTech, or Ecommerce.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or related discipline).
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Additional Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience with global payment methods and currencies.
- Familiarity with machine learning models applied to payments or fraud detection.
- Proven experience optimizing payments performance and handling large datasets.
- Experience in implementing payment systems, gateways, processors, and/or fraud detection methods.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $140,000.00 - 180,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
