Overview

The Manager, Digital Sales Operations & Client Services leads and supports a digital sales support team responsible for the successful execution, management, and billing of digital advertising campaigns. This role serves as a key operational partner to Sales, Brand Studios, Yield, Traffic, and Finance, ensuring advertising campaigns launch on time, meet client specifications, and deliver a high level of service. The Manager acts as both a people leader and subject-matter expert, advancing operational excellence, process improvement, and team development.
 

Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Digital Account Specialists responsible for campaign execution across the pitch-to-pay lifecycle
  • Oversee campaign setup, launches, and ongoing delivery, reviewing orders and line-level details to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to client requirements
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex campaign execution issues, invoice adjustments, and billing discrepancies
  • Collaborate with Sales and Brand Studios to interpret client instructions and ensure custom sponsorship and activation details are clearly communicated and executed
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Traffic, Yield, Finance, and Operations to evaluate workflows and implement process improvements
  • Manage team workload, coverage models, and resource allocation to support sales priorities and growth opportunities
  • Communicate goals, priorities, and action items through regular team and individual meetings
  • Build strong relationships across the Sales organization and represent the team in broader departmental initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience in digital advertising operations, client services, or revenue operations; people management experience preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of digital advertising workflows and agency processes
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and encourage teams in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel; working knowledge of Operative, FreeWheel, Google Ad Manager, and Salesforce is a plus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $80,000.00 - 95,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
