Paramount U.S. Distribution drives domestic content distribution strategy, connecting Paramount’s portfolio of broadcast, cable, and streaming brands with audiences nationwide. Our Marketing team delivers business impact through strategic communications, brand positioning, and partner engagement that reinforces the value of Paramount’s world-class content portfolio.
We are seeking a Director, Marketing to lead and execute initiatives that showcase Paramount’s portfolio of content and services to our distribution partners. The primary function of this role is to create and deliver impactful messaging and communications that reinforce Paramount’s value in the marketplace and generate awareness, engagement and revenue for Paramount brands and products. This position will also champion and drive internal communications and culture initiatives to keep the U.S. Distribution team connected, informed, and inspired.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative—a proactive self-starter who can translate data and insights into compelling narratives and actionable marketing plans.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing and communications deliverables that highlight Paramount’s brand value and product ecosystem for key distribution partners
- Work with cross-company teams including research, business intelligence, public relations, brand groups and other stakeholders to collect and analyze data, refine positioning and synthesize relevant information into distribution marketing materials
- Create, maintain and evolve internal and external communication platforms and resources to ensure all materials are kept up to date, including talking points, presentations and other client-facing collateral
- Develop and execute department-wide communications, newsletters, meetings, training programs, and engagement initiatives to promote transparency and foster clarity, collaboration, and culture
- Oversee production of internal department-wide meetings, including creating agendas, executive talking points, internal presentations and run-of-show documents, and managing logistics including scheduling, tech rehearsals, catering, etc.
- Support Paramount’s presence in the distribution marketplace through trade organization memberships, event sponsorships, partner activations and more
- Oversee projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders, designing and implementing custom workflows where necessary
- Manage budgets and timelines to ensure efficient execution of marketing initiative
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in marketing, communications or brand strategy
Additional Qualifications
- Deep understanding of the evolving media and entertainment landscape
- Exceptional written, visual, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to combine creative storytelling with analytical insights
- Strong project management and multitasking capabilities
- Experience leading internal communications and culture-building programs
- Proven success working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AI, automation, and digital workflow tools preferred
- Strategic thinker, collaborative leader and enthusiastic team player
- Passionate about storytelling, media, and audience engagement
- Comfortable presenting to senior executives and external partners
- Creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $130,000.00 - 150,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
