You will work with skilled production and engineering teams while also gaining deep expertise in industry-leading platforms, all within a dynamic and critical environment!

Basic Qualifications You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting media, broadcast, or production workflows in a live or near-live environment.
  • You need deep technical skills, meaning you should be able to troubleshoot issues with applications, workflows, and systems among tight deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience supporting production or creative applications (e.g., Adobe, Avid, VizRT, Mimir, or similar platforms).

Bonus Skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • You should be able to troubleshoot proficiently. This means you can tell the difference between user errors, workflow issues, application behavior, and infrastructure problems. You should also have experience managing support requests from artists, editors, producers, and technicians.
  • Ability to properly log incidents, escalate unresolved issues to L2 engineering teams, and respond to monitoring alerts with immediate corrective action where possible.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments, including processes, services, permissions, and basic resource utilization.
  • Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals such as IP addressing, DNS, connectivity issues, latency, and packet loss symptoms.
  • Experience or awareness with shared storage environments, including SMB/NFS access, permissions, mounts, and common access or performance issues.
  • Working knowledge of media workflows and asset characteristics, including file formats, codecs, wrappers, audio/video sync, and common operational failure condition.
  • Knowledge with media asset management (MAM) systems and basic media lifecycle concepts, including ingest, archiving, and purging.
  • Experience in ticket-based environments. This includes using tools like ServiceNow and Jira that follow specific processes. Capable of creating clear operational documentation, including incident summaries, symptoms, timelines, investigative steps, and outcomes.
  • Ability to provide calm, technically grounded support during live, near-live, and time-sensitive production windows.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills with ability to support production teams, editors, and end-users in a professional, patient manner.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with demonstrated ability to acquire new technical skills and stay current with emerging broadcast and media technologies.
  • Exposure to scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for troubleshooting, validation, or operational efficiency is a plus.
  • AI-conscious mindset, with interest in understanding how AI-assisted tools can support troubleshooting, documentation, incident analysis, and operational efficiency.
