The Manager of Platform Partnerships – DSPs role will work directly across all of Paramount’s relationships with DSPs in the CTV marketplace. In this role you’ll help oversee crucial aspects of the partnerships such as, maintaining partner relations, monitoring revenue trends, trouble-shooting deals, overseeing select account management, building buyer relationships, and participating in strategic initiatives. Additionally, you’ll be tasked with optimizing revenue streams and seeking business development opportunities with key DSPs. Lastly, in this position you will interface with a host of internal departments including Sales, Yield, Operations, Product and Legal, and, most importantly, you’ll be a part of our external facing business partnerships team. 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Own all day-to-day Account Management with select DSPs, which includes communication efforts, deal creation, deal troubleshooting, and collateral documentation
  • Act as a frontline contact with Paramount’s programmatic sales teams to field questions and provide best practices across Paramount’s DSP strategy and capabilities
  • Build and maintain knowledge resources, tools, and guidance documents that are relevant to buy-side activations
  • Create and maintain revenue tracking dashboards across buy-side partnerships
  • Assist Vice President, Platform Partnerships - DSPs with strategic initiatives including product rollouts to maximize Paramount’s sales offering in the marketplace
  • Monitor revenue and buying trends for Paramount’s portfolio of sales lanes across all DSP partners
  • Seek out and maximize revenue opportunities with both current and new DSPs, outlining strategies for partnership growth
  • Become a general Subject Matter Expert across the programmatic buy-side ecosystem with specific focus on the functionality of the leading DSPs in the marketplace
  • Partner with internal Yield team to build and maintain reporting suites and revenue dashboards with relevant visualization tools

 

What We’re Looking For:


The ideal candidate for this role will be an advertising industry professional with a minimum of three years of experience working within the programmatic landscape. This candidate should have extensive business development and relationship building experience, working directly with clients as well as key internal stakeholders at the industry leading buy-side platforms. The candidate should understand partnership management and revenue generation. Additionally, they must have interest and ability to take on data analyses, which requires researching, reporting, presenting and ultimately providing decision support to the business. 

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS and 3+ years of experience in the Ad Tech/programmatic advertising industry
  • Strong experience working with Demand Side Platforms and/or Sell Side Platforms to launch, execute and/or troubleshoot campaigns on the behalf of Fortune 500 clients

 

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Must be extremely organized, detailed and proactive 
  •  Knowledge, contacts and relationships within the programmatic ecosystem, including at DSPs and SSPs. 
  • Proficient with analytical tools and languages supporting data analysis, reporting, and visualization - Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Collaborative Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides), 
  • Experience extracting data from databases using SQL 
  • Exceptional communicator across all levels of the organization; able to effectively tell stories with data and present findings to a non-technical audience
  • Strong ability and motivation to pursue and obtain new lines of business

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $93,000.00 - 120,000.00 (+70% Sales Incentive Bonus). 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.  This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
