Role Details:

The Streaming Programming Associate will be responsible for the curation of Watch experiences across CBS Sports products. The CBS Sports Watch product entails the curation of live-streaming events, FAST channels and VOD experiences.  With some of the most-watched sporting events across broadcast, cable and Paramount+, the Streaming Programming Associate’s main focus is ensuring discoverability across Watch experiences through the entirety of events.  Additionally, programming our FAST channels and VOD inventory to align with sports fans’ interests is key, particularly leading into and following big events. 

Role responsibilities

• Collaborate with the programming and operations team to determine the curation of events within Watch experiences across Apps 

• Adjust curation and programming placements as needed when events are delayed or run long 

• Drive daypart programming around FAST channels and VOD that align with fans’ interests 

• Collaborate with editorial and marketing to drive additional placements across groups

• Work with the Senior Programming Manager to develop thumbnails, titles and other assets tied to Watch experiences

• Collaborate with the Senior Programming Manager on a curation schedule  across our Watch experiences that’s distributed to internal groups

• Must be available to work nights and weekends

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with content management

• 2+ years of experience working in the cloud space

• 1-2  years of experience in QA programming across FAST channels and cable EPGs
