Nickelodeon is seeking a Programming Coordinator to join our dynamic Programming team and help shape the viewing experience for millions of fans. In this role, you’ll craft compelling schedules and content strategies across our linear network and multi-platform destinations, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with our iconic brand. Please Note: This role is required to be in person (5) days per week out of our New York City office.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Assist with Program planning & Scheduling for the Nickelodeon Linear Network and Nick At Nite.
•    Help execute overall plans for Nick Multi-Platform including Nick.com, SVOD and VOD. 
•    Assist Director, Nickelodeon in planning schedules, including long range episode planning, premiere rollouts, stunt ideation and short-term schedule changes.
•    Maintain KPI (share) trackers for network and individual show performance. 
•    Manage all day-to-day programming schedule operations, including front-line communications with the Broadcast Center (NOC) including after-hours and on weekends.
•    Track all Nick/Nick At Nite programming inventory, including metadata, delivery dates, and episode descriptions including specials.
•    Participate in group brainstorms to develop programming support plans for initiatives across the Nickelodeon ecosystem.
•    Communicate changes to Marketing to ensure alignment of promotion and off-channel. 
•    Help track competitive programming and industry news and trends.

QUALIFICATIONS
•    1+ year of experience in program scheduling at a cable network (internships welcome).
•    Bachelor’s degree
•    Extremely precise and detail-oriented
•    Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
•    Excellent communicator with knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Zoom.
•    Interest in children’s programming.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $55,000.00 - 67,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
