The SEO Analyst will apply effective SEO strategies to ensure we attract and engage our target audience and convert visitors into customers for our portfolio of sites. This role will work primarily with our News sites.
Successful candidates will have proven success working with, and optimizing, multiple sites.
Primary Responsibilities: 
●    Perform day-to-day SEO operations including keyword research, on page auditing, and technical auditing
●    Continually audit and, working with the News SEO Director and editorial teams, creatively adjust content strategy to maximize quality, converting traffic
●    Use SEO tools effectively to identify opportunities
●    Monitor SEO performance against agreed upon KPIs
●    Provide reports to demonstrate success of SEO strategies
●    Collaborate with internal teams – Product, Editorial, etc.  to improve effectiveness of SEO tactics
●    Stay up-to-date on SEO industry trends/news, especially the impact of AI on search, and how best to prepare for and generate traffic within AI on and off Google
Basic Qualifications: 
●    4+ years of experience within an SEO role 
●    Strong knowledge of SEO standard processes, search engine algorithms, and SEO tools
●    Experience working with SEO tools - crawlers, GSC, competitive analysis, keyword tools, etc
●    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

●    Ideally, experience with news SEO – Google News / Discover / Bing News 

●    Experience with App store / Google Play Store optimization a plus

●    Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Hiring Salary Range: $63,000.00 - 84,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
