Overview and Responsibilities

The People Analytics function seeks to provide Paramount business leadership with data-driven insights across the full talent management stack, from diversity and inclusion, to recruiting, to performance management, to engagement and culture, to workforce planning. The Senior Analyst, Streaming Talent Analytics, role reports directly to the VP of People Analytics & Workforce Planning. The right candidate will be a self-starter who is capable of learning new HR and analytics systems, engaging with collaborators both within and outside of HR, and conducting analyses to derive insights for the organization. Stepping into a newer function that is growing in responsibility, there is a lot of opportunity to learn and to contribute to exciting, innovative analytics projects!

  • Paramount is home to various streaming and premium brands, including Pluto TV, Paramount+, and Showtime. Paramount is looking to expand its footprint in this area and will require analytics support to achieve its future talent goals. We are looking for someone who can:
  • Liaise across streaming and premium business leadership, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, third-party vendors, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) team, and the HR technology team to source, clean, analyze, and present talent data.
  • Build dashboards in SuccessFactors, Tableau, or other such tools to support various analytics initiatives related to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI), recruiting, performance, workforce planning, and so on.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses using market intelligence tools to aid domestic and global streaming expansion initiatives.
  • Support the expansion of the Employee Central core reporting and Cloud Analytics modules in SuccessFactors.

Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Information Systems, or Mathematics field (e.g., Applied Math, Statistics, Operations Research) is required for this position.
  • 2-3 years of experience in analytics, DEI, HR, or related function.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel (VBA/macros are a bonus, but minimally functions like Pivot Table and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint is mandatory.
  • Ability to communicate analytical concepts and outputs to non-experts in both a written and verbal manner.
  • Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to work within tight deadlines are all valuable traits for this role.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Proficiency with SuccessFactors (table reports, story reports) is greatly preferred, but in the absence of familiarity, an ability to learn the system quickly upon joining will be necessary. Tableau proficiency (loading datasets, setting up calculated fields, and crafting worksheets/dashboards/stories) is also beneficial.
  • Experience with statistical software and programming (SPSS, R, Python, SQL) is a plus, but not required.
