The Senior Coordinator supports the accuracy and quality of metadata, scheduling, and imagery for Paramount Television Studio content across linear, streaming, OTT, VOD, and AVOD platforms. This role helps maintain electronic program guides and brand consistency across distribution channels.
They support content across Paramount+, Showtime, MTV Entertainment, BET, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central, and manage the creation and validation of industry-standard identifiers for distribution partners.
The role also provides editorial and operational support to the Copywriting Director and collaborates on cross-functional projects to meet business and quality standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and a strong communicator with an understanding of digital platforms, emerging technologies, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Escalation & Communication: Flag and escalate metadata, scheduling, and imagery issues to internal teams and partners to ensure timely resolution.
- Metadata Management: Maintain accurate cast, crew, and content metadata in internal systems (PHIL) for distribution to platforms and partners.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with third-party providers (e.g., Gracenote, TiVo) to validate and resolve metadata and imagery discrepancies.
- Schedule QA: Review and verify scheduling updates to ensure alignment across systems and program guides.
- Identifier Management: Create and manage unique content identifiers (e.g., EIDR, TMS) to support distribution and data consistency.
- Urgent Updates: Communicate time-sensitive metadata, scheduling, and imagery changes to partners.
- Strategic Support: Assist with metadata initiatives, documentation, and cross-functional projects.
- Copy & Workflow Support: Support copy operations, editorial calendars, and content delivery workflows.
- Global Metadata: Manage and audit international metadata in global systems (OCMS).
- Data Compilation: Aggregate, standardize, and prepare metadata for global distribution.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master of Library Science (MLS) in Information Science, Library Science preferred
- 2-4 years of experience within data management, metadata (DAM, MAM), or library sciences
Additional Qualifications
- Understanding of media metadata, workflows, and distribution systems; familiarity with XML and metadata formatting required. Interest in AI-driven tools and automation is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with scheduling systems, DAM platforms, and workflow tools preferred.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 70,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
