Overview & Responsibilities
The Senior Director, Business Travel Procurement Analytics is responsible for Paramounts global travel analytics strategy, data governance, and performance insights delivery. The role, reporting to the SVP of Global Travel, transforms complex, multi-source travel data into actionable insights used by Senior Management to directly influence spend management, supplier strategy, global travel policy, and traveler behavior.  

 

Scope of Position
· Enterprise Wide: Global travel program covering all regions, business units, and travel categories (air, hotel, car, TMC, ancillary services)
· Financial Impact: Influence on multi-million-dollar annual travel spend, savings targets, cost avoidance, and sourcing outcomes
· Strategic Impact:  Assist in shaping analytics roadmap, supplier negotiations, travel policy, and long-term program optimization
· Visibility: Insights and reporting inform executive reviews, budget planning, and supplier governance

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Set analytical priorities, methodologies, and modeling approaches aligned to enterprise objectives
· Pull, aggregate and analyze large datasets from booking systems, expense tools and different platforms and provide meaningful insights
· Provide recommendations that materially influence supplier negotiations, policy decisions, compliance strategies, and spend forecasting.
· Serve as subject matter expert for analytics, supporting sourcing and vendor performance management
· Solve highly complex, ambiguous problems involving large, disparate datasets and evolving operational environments
· Balance cost optimization, traveler experience, compliance, safety, and operational feasibility in collaboration with the team and leadership
· Develop predictive, scenario-based, and financial models to evaluate future-state outcomes and trade-offs
· Provide intel and insight into multiple airline RFPs
· Acts as a thought leader in travel analytics and industry best practices
· Work with different stakeholders to create customized reporting

 

 Basic Qualifications 
· 12 years of data and reporting experience with a minimum of 7 years experience in business travel analytics including airline RFPs
· Bachelors degree
· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Skilled in report generation and data visualization using tools like Power BI, Cognos or Tableau
· Must be able to aggregate and analyze large datasets; create actional insights; and communicate complex data
· Able to create clear, concise executive presentations
 
 Additional Qualifications 
· CBAP or ECBA (Business Analysis Certifications)
· PMP or CAPM (Project Management Certifications)
· Global Travel Professional (GTP) certification 
. Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
· Highly organized; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; meet tight deadlines; and quickly pivot when needed

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $175,000.00 - 230,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
