The ideal candidate is a strategic, analytical, and operationally-minded leader who can translate complex market analysis and business intelligence into actionable strategies. This position will be heavily involved in developing strategic narratives, creating compelling presentations for senior leadership, and managing the operational cadence of our global strategy communications. This role will have high visibility and often interact with executives. You will work cross-functionally with content, product, marketing, finance, and regional teams to drive alignment and execution of our strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, author, and maintain the central repository of strategic documents, presentations, and narratives that articulate the company's global streaming vision and strategy.
  • Craft compelling, data-driven presentations and memos for senior executive audiences, including the C-suite and board of directors, to inform and guide key business decisions.
  • Lead the operational planning and execution of global strategy communications, ensuring uniform and timely dissemination of strategic updates across all international teams.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the global and regional streaming landscape, identifying key market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
  • Synthesize industry reports, viewership data, and internal performance metrics into actionable insights that inform our strategic direction.
  • Develop and maintain robust competitive intelligence frameworks and models.
  • Partner with finance and data science teams to develop sophisticated models for forecasting, subscriber growth, content investment, and long-range planning.
  • Support the annual planning process, working with regional leaders to align local market strategies with global objectives.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of critical initiatives, identifying sources of variance and recommending corrective actions.
  • Drive post-mortem analysis of key content releases, marketing campaigns, and product launches to refine future strategies.
  • Act as a central point of contact for strategic inquiries, fostering strong relationships with leaders across Content, Product, Marketing, Finance, and regional teams.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects from conception to execution, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or business operations within the media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
  • Proven experience in the streaming (SVOD, AVOD, FAST) or direct-to-consumer (DTC) industry.
  • Expert proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel, with experience in building detailed financial models and data-driven presentations.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working in a global capacity with a strong understanding of international market nuances.

Additional Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives and present complex information clearly and concisely to executive audiences.
  • A deep passion for and knowledge of the television, film, and digital content landscape.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with multiple collaborators in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a high tolerance for ambiguity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
