At Paramount, we're revolutionizing the way small and medium businesses advertise on TV and Connected TV (CTV)! Our innovative Self Serve Ads Platform empowers businesses of all sizes to build impactful advertising campaigns at ease, reaching audiences through the power of television and streaming. As the Product Designer on the Paramount SMB Advertising Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the UI/UX design of our platform, to ensure a smooth, intuitive, and premium experience for our advertisers! You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, product requirements, and advertiser feedback.
 

Responsibilities:
 

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand advertiser needs and translate them into intuitive, user-friendly designs
  • Design and iterate on UI/UX for Paramount Self-Serve Ads business website and the platform, focusing on simplicity, smoothness, ease of use, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Optimize the user experience of Paramount Self-Serve Ads Platform, from ads booking to dashboard.
  • Build wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and collect feedback to continually improve the platform's design and functionality.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficient
  • Stay updated on industry trends, standard processes, and new technologies related to TV and CTV advertising to inform design decisions.
     

Basic Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years crafting user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile web applications, preferably in the advertising or marketing industry.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, including user research, information architecture, and interaction design.

  • Deep understanding of advertising principles and the challenges and opportunities presented by TV and CTV advertising.
  • Passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences and are committed to understanding user needs and pain points.
  • Creative mindset and are skilled at generating innovative design solutions that balance aesthetics with functionality.
  • Measure the success and use data to assist and drive decision-making and design iterations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present and defend design decisions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $110,400.00 - 138,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.  This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
