Role Details:

We are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior iOS Developer to join our mobile engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a natural inclination for problem-solving to work directly on enhancing the video streaming experience of our expanding mobile customer base.

As a member of our team, the Senior iOS Developer will have the chance to take on complex and interesting problems in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. We are always evaluating and adapting the latest and greatest on the iOS/tvOS platforms, and there's always something new to learn.
This role will provide the developer with the chance to work with cutting-edge technology and play a key role in the continued growth and success of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for elegant problem-solving and be eager to contribute to a dynamic and innovative team.

Your Day-to-Day:

● Technical development, debugging, and delivery of best-in-class tvOS and iOS native applications
● Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
● Deliver top-quality tvOS and iOS native applications
● Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features
● Work closely with your team to ensure the timely delivery of features and improvements
● Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous
improvement
● Explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies to optimize development efficiency and
productivity
● Perform implementation of upgrades, rebuilds, and additional porting of applications
● Effectively manage multiple tasks and projects in a results-driven environment
● Develop technical requirements documentation based on product requirements
● Cultivate strong working relationships with colleagues, customers (internal and external), and
company management
● Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

● 3+ years of iOS development experience
● Excellent programming skills in Swift
● In-depth knowledge of the iOS platform and deep familiarity with Xcode
● Sound programming fundamentals: experience working with memory management, multi-threaded programming, animations, etc.
● Experience working on UI design for all size-classes using storyboards and xibs
● Acted as a key contributor to at least one publically released native iPhone application
● Experience in consuming RESTful APIs to connect with back-end services.
● Experience working with Agile development processes
● Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work well with non- technical members of the development team
● Ability to assist others in a technical capacity
● Strong problem solving and architectural skills

Desired Qualifications:

● BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
● Background supporting the integration of rich media assets, including video, into mobile properties
● Experience integrating ad serving products and analytics/reporting tools in building iOS apps
● Continuous Build & Test Automation experience
● Experience working with entertainment, games, news, or sports-related properties preferred
● Understanding of streaming video and DRM concepts
● Knowledge of Localization practices and concepts in Xcode
● Experience with Swift Package Manager

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $125,000.00 - 150,000.00. 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
