  • Solid knowledge of networking basics is required. This involves knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and fixing connectivity problems in media workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Nutanix, VMware, or equivalent), including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience designing and supporting SAN and NAS storage environments using SMB and NFS for creative and broadcast workloads.
  • Demonstrated capability implementing and using monitoring, alerting, and log analysis to support anticipatory detection and root-cause analysis (e.g., Zabbix, New Relic, or similar).
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.
  • Experience supporting production databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar systems.
  • Hands-on administration of Active Directory, including users, security groups, access controls, and integration with media platforms.
