#WeAreParamount on a mission to unleash the power of content… you in?
We’ve got the brands, we’ve got the stars, we’ve got the power to achieve our mission to entertain the planet – now all we’re missing is… YOU! Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Together, we co-create moments that matter – both for our audiences and our employees – and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.

Role Overview

As the Senior Director, Finance Product Lead, you will be the primary architect of the next generation of financial intelligence. Reporting to the SVP of ERP, you will occupy a unique "Translator-in-Chief" role—bridging the gap between the Office of the CFO and technical engineering teams.

Your mission is to transform our ERP from a static system of record into a dynamic engine of insight. You will lead the development of a comprehensive Finance Data Mart and serve as the Product Owner for a high-profile AI Analyst Bot. This role requires a rare blend of deep financial literacy, product management rigor, and the ability to steer elite engineering teams (both internal and external partners like Google) to deliver bleeding-edge variance analysis tools.

In this role, you aren't just managing software; you are redefining the role of the modern Finance professional. By automating the "what" and the "why" of financial variances through AI, you allow the CFO and FP&A teams to focus entirely on the "what next".

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Data Mart & KPI Strategy

  • Unified Data Architecture: Lead the strategy and roadmap for a centralized Finance Data Mart. You will ensure that data flowing out of the ERP is structured, governed, and ready for high-level consumption.
  • KPI Standardization: Collaborate with the Head of FP&A and Finance leads globally to define and automate the ingestion of core KPIs, ensuring a "Single Source of Truth" for all corporate reporting.
  •  System Optimization: Work within the ERP organization to ensure upstream data entry and system configurations support downstream analytical needs.

2. AI Innovation & Partner Integration

  • Next-Gen Chatbot Development: Partner closely with Google Engineering and internal software teams to build a generative AI bot. This tool will allow executives to query financial data using natural language (e.g., "Why did OpEx spike in EMEA last quarter?").
  • Automated Variance Analysis: Direct engineers in building ML models and LLM prompts that can automatically scan datasets, identify drivers of budget vs. actual (BvA) variances, and provide concise executive summaries.
  • Product Management: Define the user stories, technical specs, and success metrics for the AI roadmap, ensuring the "Analyst Bot" delivers high-accuracy, audit-ready insights.

3. Engineering & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Technical Liaison: Sit at the center of a "triad" consisting of the CFO, Internal Engineering, and External Tech Partners. You must be able to explain depreciation logic to a coder and API latency to a controller.
  • Agile Execution: Manage the development lifecycle, prioritizing features that provide the highest "Time-to-Insight" for the FP&A team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience 12+ years in Finance Systems, Product Management, or ERP Leadership; 5+ years managing high-performing teams.
  • Fluency Strong understanding of Big Data environments (BigQuery/Snowflake), AI/ML integration, and Cloud ERP architecture.
  • Expertise Mastery of FP&A workflows, variance analysis, and corporate accounting structures.
  • Collaborating Proven track record of working with "Big Tech" partners (e.g., Google, Microsoft, AWS) on co-engineered solutions and internal engineering squads.
  • Influence Ability to manage by influence across a matrixed organization of finance professionals and software engineers.
