Senior Director, Global Operations Product Lead

Role Overview

As the Senior Director, Global Operations Product Lead, you will be the primary architect of the next generation of operational intelligence. Reporting to the SVP of ERP, you will occupy a unique "Translator-in-Chief" role—bridging the gap between Global Operations and technical engineering teams.

Your mission is to transform our ERP from a static system of record into a dynamic engine of self-governing action. You will lead the development of a comprehensive Operations Data Mart and serve as the Product Owner for high-profile Agentic Services and AI Automation. This role requires a rare blend of deep operational literacy (OTC, PTP, T&E), product management rigor, and the ability to steer elite engineering teams—both internal and external partners like Google—to deliver bleeding-edge vendor analytics and automated workflow tools.

In this role, you aren't just managing software; you are redefining the role of the modern Operations professional. By automating the "what" and the "why" of operational variances through Agentic Services, you allow Global Operations leadership to focus entirely on the "what next".

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Data Mart & KPI Strategy

  • Unified Data Architecture: Lead the strategy and roadmap for a centralized Operations Data Mart. You will ensure that data flowing out of the ERP regarding Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), and Travel & Expense (T&E) is structured, governed, and ready for high-level consumption.
  • KPI Standardization: Collaborate with Global Operations leads to define and automate the ingestion of core KPIs (e.g., DSO, DPO, T&E compliance, and leakage), ensuring a "Single Source of Truth" for all global reporting.
  • System Optimization: Work within the ERP organization to ensure upstream data entry and system configurations support downstream analytical and agentic needs.

2. AI Innovation & Agentic Services

  • Next-Gen Agentic Bot Development: Partner closely with Google Engineering and internal software teams to build generative AI agents. These tools will allow executives to query operational data and execute tasks using natural language (e.g., "Analyze vendor tail-spend in APAC and suggest consolidation opportunities").
  • Automated Vendor Analytics: Direct engineers in building ML models and LLM prompts that can automatically scan datasets, identify drivers of variance in vendor pricing, and provide concise executive summaries on global spend health.
  • Agentic Workflow Product Management: Define the user stories, technical specs, and success metrics for the AI roadmap, ensuring that autonomous agents in PTP and OTC deliver high-accuracy, audit-ready results.

3. Engineering & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Technical Liaison: Sit at the center of a "triad" consisting of Global Operations, Internal Engineering, and External Tech Partners. You must be able to explain procurement logic to a coder and API latency to a global process owner.
  • Agile Execution: Manage the development lifecycle, prioritizing features that provide the highest "Time-to-Insight" and "Time-to-Action" for the Global Business Operations teams.

Candidate Profile

Category Requirements

  • Experience 12+ years in Global Operations Systems, Product Management, or ERP Leadership; 5+ years managing high-performing teams.
  • Fluency Strong understanding of Big Data environments (BigQuery/Snowflake), Agentic AI/ML integration, and Cloud ERP architecture.
  • Expertise Mastery of OTC, PTP, and Travel & Expense workflows, vendor analytics, and global shared services structures.
  • Collaborating Proven track record of working with "Big Tech" partners (e.g., Google, Microsoft, AWS) on co-engineered solutions and internal engineering squads.
  • Influence Ability to manage by influence across a matrixed organization of operations professionals and software engineers.
