Overview and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Senior Director, Oracle EPM Cloud to lead our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) architecture and development efforts. This role serves as the primary technical authority for our EPM Cloud ecosystem, bridging the gap between financial strategy and technical execution. As a player-coach, you will create complex solutions and write advanced calculation scripts. You will also collaborate closely with the Finance team. Your goal is to convert business requirements into automated and scalable EPM workflows.
- Own end-to-end architecture, design, and development for Oracle Cloud EPM modules including PBCS, ARCS, EPCM, Freeform, and TRCS.
- Lead implementation of complex technical architectures ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability across the EPM suite.
- Drive hands-on build-out of advanced Calculation Manager rules, Groovy scripting, complex business logic, and automation using EPM Automate and REST APIs.
- Engineer data integration pipelines using Data Management / Data Integration and oversee orchestration and scheduling across environments.
- Partner directly with CFO and senior Finance leadership to translate planning, close, reconciliation, profitability, and tax reporting needs into scalable EPM solutions.
- Establish technical standards, metadata governance, and environment lifecycle management (dev/test/prod) to ensure stability and auditability.
- Oversee integration strategy between EPM modules and core ERP systems (including Oracle Fusion / cloud ERP), ensuring reliable data movement and controls.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of EPM developers and analysts; provide technical direction, code reviews, and delivery accountability.
Basic Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in EPM/CPM system implementation, including 7+ years in a senior architecture and/or leadership role.
- Deep technical mastery building Oracle Cloud EPM solutions across PBCS, ARCS, EPCM, TRCS, and Freeform.
- Advanced proficiency with Calculation Manager, Groovy for EPM, SQL, and automation using EPM Automate and REST APIs.
- Experience designing and supporting EPM data integrations (Data Management / Data Integration) and end-to-end EPM-to-ERP integration strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical constraints into clear, actionable recommendations for executive leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
Additional Qualifications:
- Media & Entertainment industry experience (e.g., content production accounting, advertising revenue modeling).
- Oracle Cloud EPM Cloud Implementation Professional certification(s) (current).
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives across global finance organizations.
- Experience building solutions with Oracle Fusion and cloud ERP platforms.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $185,000.00 - 280,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
