Overview:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Lead national advertising sales across Paramount's sports portfolio, including broadcast, cable, streaming, digital, social, programmatic, and advanced advertising solutions.

Develop and execute strategic revenue plans that exceed annual sales targets while maximizing monetization across premium sports properties.

Own forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue performance to ensure alignment with financial objectives.

Identify emerging marketplace opportunities, new advertiser categories, and innovative commercial models that drive incremental revenue

Build long-term partnerships centered on measurable business outcomes, audience engagement, and integrated marketing solutions.

Lead complex negotiations across sponsorships, tentpole events, branded content, and multiplatform partnerships.

Collaborate with senior client executives to develop customized marketing strategies leveraging Paramount's full ecosystem.

Partner with Marketing, Research, Pricing, Product, and Programming to develop compelling marketplace narratives and differentiated sales positioning.

Provide marketplace intelligence and competitive insights that influence pricing strategy, packaging, and product development.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales organization focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture that attracts, develops, and retains top commercial talent.

Represent Paramount Advertising at Upfronts, industry conferences, client events, and executive leadership forums.

Serve as a visible thought leader within the sports advertising community, strengthening Paramount's market presence and reputation.
Basic Qualifications:
-
15+ years of experience in media sales or marketing, with a exemplary track record of leading teams and exceeding revenue goals

5+ years of sports media sales experience, preferably across broadcast, streaming, and digital.

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Demonstrated success leading high-performing sales teams. Consistently exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue goals.

Proven ability to develop and execute commercial strategies that drive long-term revenue growth and market share.

Experience selling integrated sponsorships, branded content, and cross-platform advertising solutions.

Robust financial acumen with expertise in forecasting, revenue planning, pipeline management, and business strategy.

Deep knowledge of today's advertising ecosystem, including streaming, audience-based buying, programmatic advertising, data-driven marketing, and measurement solutions.

Established relationships with senior marketing executives, agency holding companies, and Fortune 500 advertisers.

Great executive presence, with top-notch communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Research, Product, Finance, Programming, and Executive Leadership within a matrixed organization.

Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture.

Experience leading organizational change and navigating a rapidly evolving media landscape.

Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.

Affinity for sports, media innovation, and creating market-leading advertising solutions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $250,000.00 - 350,000.00 +70% Bonus.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
